Do I need a visa for mainland China?
It depends on your nationality. Many passports now qualify for visa-free entry or transit visa-free stays, but always check the official rules before travelling.
Do we have to get out at the border?
At most crossings you clear immigration on board. At some ports, or for certain documents, passengers walk through and rejoin the same car. We will tell you in advance based on your documents.
What documents do I need?
Hong Kong residents need a Home Return Permit. International visitors need a passport plus a valid visa or eligibility for visa-free entry. Children need their own documents.
